Stephanie Raine Lee
M.S., L.Ac
Stephanie Raine Lee is a New York State licensed acupuncturist and a board certified Chinese herbalist. She graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City, receiving a Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine. During the course of training, she studied various styles of acupuncture and needle techniques, along with traditional Chinese medical modalities including cupping, moxibustion, gua sha, and Tui Na medical massage.
Chinese medicine views the body on a macro scale. Health problems usually don’t come from a single source. Often, it’s the product of an entire interplay of one’s lifestyle, biology, constitution, and psycho-emotional state. Stephanie’s goal in her acupuncture practice is not only to alleviate discomfort but to draw on the wealth of Chinese medical diagnosis to address the root causes and to gently guide the body toward self-healing.
Stephanie is committed to coming alongside her patients in their health and wellbeing. She has provided acupuncture at Lutheran Medical Hospital, NYU Langone Hospital for Joint Diseases, and Beth Israel Continuum Cancer Center, and treats a variety of ailments including muscle pain, anxiety, insomnia, fatigue, gastrointestinal discomfort, infertility, gynecological issues, and the side effects of chemotherapy. Outside of Worksong, she maintains a private practice in Middle Village, New York.
Alongside her acupuncture practice, Stephanie leads Traditional Chinese Medicine-based wellness workshops through Reveal NYC, a nonprofit organization fostering uplifting experiences for survivors of domestic violence and sex-trafficking. She is also an avid cook and the writer behind The Herby Kitchen, a culinary blog aiming to bring Chinese herbal ingredients into the modern kitchen.
